Once all the impairment was repaired, I wiped the desk downward using Simple Green earlier giving it a coat of my favorite primer.   I was worried I would impairment the master copy hardware if I tried to take away it, therefore I left it on in addition to was super careful when painting.

After the primer was dry out I added 2 coats of General Finishes Coastal bluish in addition to therefore sealed the pigment amongst finishing wax.  I actually wanted to decease on the slice solid, only amongst all drawers in addition to difficult lines I ended upwards having to distress it a bit.  I wasn't thrilled amongst the white showing through, therefore I sanded every bit much every bit I could downward to the woods in addition to therefore used a stain pencil to a greater extent than or less the edges.  I blended the stain into the pigment in addition to therefore sealed it in i trial again amongst some other layer of wax.

I love, love, beloved how this desk turned out.  The contrast of the bluish in addition to aureate is such a beautiful combination in addition to I intend it's a swell slice that could agree multiple blueprint styles.
